Lakewood wasn’t really a city ever on our radar for a place to stay, but since this was our very first trip with the trailer, aka “the shakedown”, we figured it would be a prudent move to not have to travel far from the dealership.

Review
The location itself was quiet and clean (for a farm). The site host was moderately helpful but not as cordial as we’d have expected from a host. We enjoyed the local dive bar and paddle boarding on nearby American Lake.
Trailerability
Getting through the gate when you don’t really know how to tow a trailer…. was not good.
